On May 19, 2020, correspondent member of ANAS, doctor of biological sciences, Head of the laboratory of “Bioinformatics”  of IMBB, Ilham Shahmuradov joined ITV’s program “Good morning, Azerbaijan”. Speaking about the history of Bioinformatics, the scientist noted that as a result of fast-spread of biological information in the world, their analyze is possible only through computer programs. Note that, the laboratory headed by I.Shahmuradov is the first Bioinformatics laboratory in Azerbaijan. He informed that a new bioinformatics program related to coronavirus had been developed.
