The Science Development Foundation under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK) invite Azerbaijani and Turkish scientists to submit research projects to a joint international grant competition.

The purpose of the 2nd Azerbaijan-Turkey (“AzTurk-2”) international grant competition is to support joint research projects submitted by scientists and researchers from the two countries through joint grants from the Science Development Foundation and TUBITAK, to create conditions for their application in the economy, and new opportunities for cooperation, to exchange scientific experience and skills, and use them in solving scientific problems of the project.

Within the framework of the competition, fundamental, applied, experimental, academic, empirical, innovative, theoretical, and financial projects up to 300,000 manats will be funded. The projects will be accepted until November 5. The results of the competition are planned to be announced in 2022.

Online consultation workshops will be held to assist grant applicants and answer questions during the project submission period. Additional information will be posted on the Foundation's website (http://sdf.gov.az/az). From the day of submission to the competition, the projects will be considered and the participants will be informed about the results electronically.
