| Key scientific achievements | For the first time, as a result of a comprehensive microbiological study of Naftalan oil, microorganisms (fungal and bacterial cultures) capable of degrading Naftalan oil were isolated from the Naftalan oil source and, for comparison, from oil-contaminated soils of the Absheron Peninsula. |
