| Key scientific achievements | The physicochemical properties of thermal water sources located within the Greater Caucasus region of Azerbaijan (32.5–65°C, pH, and mineral composition) were studied. Microorganisms were isolated from the thermal waters, pure cultures were obtained, and their enzymatic activity (cellulase, amylase, protease, xylanase) was investigated. The thermostability of the enzymes at high temperature (65°C) was also determined, and the obtained results were statistically substantiated. |
