The online closing ceremony of the X republican competition "Scientists of Tomorrow" took place.

Speaking at the ceremony, organized by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Minister of Education Emin Amrullayev congratulated all the winners and wished each of them success in their activities. Speaking about the importance of the "Scientists of Tomorrow" competition, the Minister noted that the competition has had a positive impact on the future development and career of students.

It was noted that 208 students studying in secondary schools of 14 cities and regions this year won the right to participate in the competition with 123 scientific projects, according to the decision of the Scientific Expertise Commission. Of these projects, 37 were individual and 86 were collectively developed.

A jury of scientists has been set up to evaluate the projects. According to the decision of the jury, 81 students on 48 projects were awarded I, II and III places in various categories, including 13 students on 8 projects, 27 students on 16 projects and 41 students on 24 projects.

The winners will be awarded diplomas, medals and prizes on behalf of the organizers of the competition, and the finalists who do not take place will be awarded certificates of the competition.

Vice-president of ANAS, academician Irada Huseynova spoke at the event as a representative of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.
