On 26 October, 2018, a regular meeting of the Scientific Council was held at the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies. Members of the council, as well prof. Garib Murshudov, head of Laboratory of Computational structural biology and doctor of biological sciences Suleyman Allahverdiyev, head of Laboratory of Bionanotechnology attended to the meeting. The following issues were discussed at the meeting:

Information about purposeful grant competitions for "Agrarian studies" and "Turkic world studies" announced by the Science Development Foundation under the President of Azerbaijan;

Issues on the taking of some urgent measures coming from the "Agreement of Intent" signed between ANAS and the Ministry of Agriculture;

Order of the President of ANAS on carrying out winter exam session;

The issue of defining dissertation topics and appointment of scientific leaders  of students entered the magistracy in 2018/2019 academic years;

The expediency of the publication of the monograph "Biochemical mechanisms of adaptation to stress in plants" with the co-authorship of H.Babayev, N.M.Guliyev and J.A. Aliyev and other organizational issues.
