A scientific-practical conference on “Actual problems of modern biology” was held at the Institute of Microbiology of ANAS. Deputy Director on Scientific Affairs of the Institute, correspondent member of ANAS Panah Muradov opened the event, spoke about the achievements of the youth policy, which was laid by the national leader Heydar Aliyev and successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev. The scientist noted that last year young scientists and specialists of the institute actively participated in the scientific and social life of the academy.

Then chairman of the  Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of ANAS, Ph.D. in physics, associate professor Famin Salmanov spoke about important steps taken in the direction of youth development.

The reports on actual problems of biology were listened at the conference. After the reports, director of the institute academician Mammad Salmanov spoke about the role of the youth in society, care and attention given to them in our country.

 In conclusion, authors of the best reports were awarded honorary diplomas and cash prizes. Young researcher of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies Rafiga Masmaliyeva was awarded diploma and cash prize for ranking 1^st. Junior researcher of the institute Aynura Pashayeva was awarded certificate.
