Head of the Photobioenergetics Laboratory of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, doctor of biological sciences Yashar Feyziyev and junior researcher P. Safarova and Professor Levent Chavas of the Department of Biochemistry of Turkey's Dokuz Eylul University and his colleague Sema Doghmaz had an online meeting and scientific discussions were held.

The main topics of the meeting were issues of obtaining hydrogen energy by nanobiotechnological methods based on algae bioresources of the Caspian and Aegean seas, and a preliminary agreement was reached on cooperation in this direction. In particular, they discussed the preparation of joint projects, the use of the scientific potential of young researchers, and the organization of trips for joint research and experience exchange.

At the meeting, it was decided to continue working to strengthen scientific relations and further expand joint research directions.
