Head of the Department of the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of ANAS, Chairwoman of the Women’s Council of ANAS Doctor of Philosophy, Professor Rena Mirzazade congratulated academician Irada Huseynova on behalf of the Women’s Council of ANAS, distinguished female scientists and public figures, wished her robust health, as well as continued success and new achievements in her scientific, organizational, and public activities. This article, written on the occasion of academician Irada Huseynova’s 60th anniversary, provides a comprehensive overview of her scientific, organizational, and public activities. The author notes that Irada Huseynova is an outstanding female scientist who has played a significant role in the development of Azerbaijani science, distinguished by her high intellect, educational efforts, and cultured demeanor. She has conducted important scientific research in the fields of photosynthesis, molecular biology, biochemistry, and biotechnology, and is the author of numerous prestigious articles and scholarly works. The academician is known for her transparent, responsible, and effective leadership style both at the institute she heads and within various structures of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS). She actively participates in the training of young scientists, sharing her knowledge and experience with them. I.Huseynova places special emphasis on promoting gender equality and encouraging women’s involvement in scientific activities. Thanks to her initiatives, the integration of women scientists into society has been significantly strengthened. Through her scientific achievements and commitment to national values, she serves as a bridge between science and society. Irada Huseynova is also one of the scholars who successfully represent Azerbaijani science at the international level. She has been awarded numerous national and international honors and is recognized as an exemplary female scientist in the fields of science, gender equality, and leadership.
