The Plastic Waste Management Forum was held in Baku.  It was organized by the "EcoHub" Public Union with support from various local and international partners. The forum aimed to promote plastic waste reduction, cross-sector cooperation, and public awareness. In the opening session, Vice-President of ANAS, academician Irada Huseynova, spoke about the environmental impact of plastic waste and the importance of innovative management approaches. The first panel focused on managing packaging waste in the tourism sector.  Representatives from government, private, and civil society sectors participated in the discussion. The second panel addressed the role of artificial intelligence and technology in sustainable waste management. Startup leaders and university experts shared their experiences. The third panel emphasized circular economy and strengthening intersectoral partnerships. The forum played a key role as a platform for promoting collaboration and innovation in plastic waste reduction.
