April 15 marks the Day of Remembrance of the distinguished ophthalmologist-scientist, Academician Zarifa Aliyeva. Academician Zarifa Aliyeva, who made significant contributions to the development of healthcare and medical science in our country, earned an everlasting place in the memory of our people through her devotion to national moral and ethical values, as well as to modernity and progress, her benevolent and noble deeds, and her meaningful life. Her name has been inscribed in golden letters among the most prominent and creative figures in the history of 20th-century Azerbaijan.
