June 15 - National Salvation Day is a significant milestone that holds an important place in the destiny of the Azerbaijani people and in the history of statehood. The return to power of National Leader Heydar Aliyev in 1993, at the insistence of the people, saved the country from the threat of fragmentation and loss of independence and set it on the path of stability, development, and progress.
