At the scientific school he established, I learned to think critically, conduct research, and approach scientific results with the highest standards.” Academician Irada Huseynova, Vice-President of ANAS and Acting Director of the Institute of Molecular Biology, made these remarks in an interview with AZƏRTAC on the occasion of World Teachers’ Day. She noted that Jalal Aliyev taught his students to maintain high standards in their approach to scientific results: “From Professor Jalal Aliyev, I learned scientific integrity, dedication to hard work, principled conduct, and the courage to approach even the most complex problems. Most importantly, I came to understand that being a scientist is not only about generating new knowledge, but also about bearing the responsibility of ensuring that this knowledge serves the development of the country and society.”
