The first vice-president of ANAS, member of the Milli Majlis, academician Isa Habibbeyli spoke at an online meeting of the Milli Majlis Committee on Science and Education.

At a meeting of the Committee on Science and Education, draft laws on introducing amendments to the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On Education” and the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On State Fees” were discussed.

Academician Isa Habibbayli noted that the items related to the organization of defense of dissertations will have a positive impact on the quality indicators of science, will increase the responsibility of chairmen of dissertation councils and official opponents.
