Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry of ANAS and Council of Young Scientists and Specialists has held a video conference dedicated to the 97th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev.

A video conference on "Heydar Aliyev, the architect of modern Azerbaijani statehood" was organized on the "Zoom" platform.

Farid Mustafayev, Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of the Institute, who moderated the event, said that the measures taken by the country's leadership to prevent the spread of coronavirus in Azerbaijan, which poses a threat to all mankind, made young people proud. He expressed confidence that thanks to the preventive measures taken, we will soon get rid of this scourge.

Then the chairman of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of ANAS, PhD, Assoc. Prof. Famin Salmanov delivered a lecture on "Heydar Aliyev's youth policy" and noted that the great leader Heydar Aliyev had done important work to expand and boost the scientific and social activities of young people, educate them in the national spirit, assimilate and promote the country's cultural heritage and history.

The chairman of the council also stressed that the state youth policy founded by national leader Heydar Aliyev is being duly continued by President Ilham Aliyev. He praised the measures taken by the President to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic in the country.

The chairman of the territorial organization of the New Azerbaijan Party (NAP) of ANAS, PhD Ulduza Mehvaliyeva  delivered a lecture on "Heydar Aliyev as the founder of the New Azerbaijan Party." She stressed that the prominent figure Heydar Aliyev approached all issues from the principles of state and statehood, and always saw the future of Azerbaijan, as well as the NAP in the youth.
