Deputy Minister of Health Rahim Aliyev: "The decrease in the number of cases of infection indicates that the chosen strategy is correct"

On August 4, Deputy Minister of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan Rahim Aliyev spoke at an international online conference held at ANAS on the topic: "The coronavirus pandemic: from scientific research to ensuring a healthy future."
Noting that COVID-19 is both a medico-social and a big economic problem, Rahim Aliyev added that under the influence of the pandemic, the economies of many countries of the world suffered great damage, millions of people were infected with the virus, hundreds of thousands of whom lost their lives.
The Deputy Minister said that from the very first days the pandemic was under the control of the country's leadership, in their speeches, President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President of the Republic Mehriban Aliyeva repeatedly called on the population to comply with all measures to combat the virus, important measures were taken in Azerbaijan aimed at preventing the impact of the pandemic on various areas.
