The New Azerbaijan Party (NAP) organized a visit to Jojug Marjanli village of Jabrayil region which liberated from occupation, on the third anniversary of the victory of the Azerbaijani Army in the April wars of 2016. On the visit to Jojug Marjanli, 100 people, including representatives of the local community, party activists and youth, led by the deputy of the National Council, chairman of the Sabail District Organization Shamsaddin Hajiyev attended the meeting. Employees of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies of ANAS, deputy director on educational affairs, Alamdar Mammadov and lawyer Natig Mammadov participated at the visit.

The participants first visited the monument to "April martyrs memorial" in Horadiz, laid flowers to the front and commemorated the memory of the sons of the Motherland, who died for the territorial integrity of our republic. Then plank trees were planted on the roadside.

Then a meeting was held with the staff of Jojug Marjanli village secondary school named after Novruz Aslanov and residents. Guests got acquainted with the classrooms, cabinets, and talked to teachers and students. Books were gifted to the school.

The delegation got acquainted with the service and living conditions of soldiers and officers serving front line and presented them a television.

Guests also visited a mosque similar to Shusha mosque built in Jojug Marjanli where they prayed for the martyrs' spirit. Later, they came to the military unit No. N and had dinner together with soldiers and officers.

During the visit, the monument was erected in the village of Alikhanli of Fuzuli region on the initiative of the military unit commander in memory of 2-year-old Zahra and her grandmother Sahiba Allahverdiyeva, who were killed as a result of the firing of the Armenian armed forces.

Shamsaddin Hajiyev said that “With these visits, we want to tell you that you are not alone. All Azerbaijanis, including the intellectuals of the Sabail district, NAP members are with you”.
