At ANAS general meeting was held an election for the post of ANAS Vice-President on May 1. As a result of the secret ballot held among 58 Academy active members academician, Rasim Alguliyev was elected as ANAS Vice-President.

And as a result of an open vote, corresponding member of ANAS Aminaga Sadigov was elected as Academician-Secretary of ANAS.

Note: Academician Rasim Alguliyev is a Director of ANAS Institute of Information Technologies since 2002. In 2007 he was elected as a corresponding member of ANAS on specialty "Computer science" and in 2014 he was elected as an active member of ANAS. Since 2013 scientist was an Academician-Secretary of ANAS.
