Reports on scientific, scientific-organizational, and pedagogical work carried out in 2020 at the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology continue. At the meeting held on December 1, reports of the laboratories “Genome structure and expression”, “Molecular biotechnology” and department of International and public relations were listened. Head of the laboratory of Genome structure and expression, Ph.D., associate professor Alamdar Mammadov gave general information about the scientific direction of the laboratory, staff training, publishing work. Then leading researchers Ph.D. Zarifa Suleymanova, Ph.D. Seadet Khudaverdiyeva, senior researcher Ph.D. Ulkar Ibrahimova gave a report on their research work and results. The report of the Institute's Molecular Biotechnology Laboratory with international status was presented by the employee of the laboratory, senior researcher Ayten Agayeva. Minakhanim Aliyeva, Head of the International and Public Relations Department, gave a detailed report on the participation of the Institute's staff in local and international conferences this year, international relations, the Institute's activities during the pandemic and the Second Karabakh War, and active participation in the media and TV. Thus, the next meeting of the Scientific Council ended its work.
