Researcher of the Bioadaptation Laboratory of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies, Doctor of Philosophy in Biology Samra Mirzayeva was awarded an established prize for those who excel in science, education, culture, youth policy and youth work, social and public activities, innovation, and entrepreneurship in accordance with the order of President Ilham Aliyev on awarding the Presidential Prizes for Youth in 2021.

Samra Mirzayeva, one of the young scientists of IMBB has always been distinguished for her scientific and public activities. She has taken an active part in the local and international scientific seminars, her articles have been published in scientific journals. Samra Mirzayeva was awarded Honorary Decree of ANAS in 2016. In 2018, she ranked 3rd place in the competition held by the Presidium of ANAS on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev. In 2019, on the occasion of February 2 - Azerbaijan Youth Day, she was awarded by the Ministry of Youth and Sports for her successful work in 2018.
