Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies of ANAS held a competition of scientific research works of young scientists and specialists + Photo Jul 16, 2021 | 11:20 / Important events

On July 15, on the occasion of the 5th anniversary of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies of ANAS, a competition of scientific works of young scientists and specialists under 30 years of age was held. In order to ensure transparency in the selection of winners, the relevant competition commission was established by the order of the director of the institute, vice-president of ANAS, academician Irada Huseynova, as well as the competition rules were approved. The main purpose of the competition was to motivate young people with special research talents, to give them the opportunity to demonstrate their research and analytical skills. The commission discussed in detail the questionnaires, scientific works of the candidates who submitted their works to the competition, the relevance, modernity, methodology, theoretical and practical significance of their research work. Academician Irada Huseynova, members of the competition commission and the scientific council of the institute reviewed the posters reflecting the scientific research of the candidates. Then candidates answered numerous questions of members. Deputy Chairman of the Free Trade Union of ANAS, Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Professor Raya Najafova also took part in the mentioned processes.

According to the results, Lala Akhundova, junior researcher of Population Genomics Laboratory ranked the 1st plaace, Aynura Pashayeva, junior researcher of Proteomics International Laboratory and Gulmira Alibeyova, junior researcher of Bioadaptation Laboratory ranked the 2nd place, Nargiz Bayramova, junior researcher of Bioadaptation Laboratory, and junior researcher of Bionanotechnology international laboratory, Leyla Khalilova ranked the 3rd place and were awarded accordingly.

At the end of the event, academician Irada Huseynova thanked the leadership of the Free Trade Union of ANAS for the care and support of young scientists and specialists, congratulated the winners, conveyed her recommendations and wished them success in their future scientific activities.
