Gulmira Alibeyova, junior researcher of the laboratory of Population genomics was awarded a scholarship as the winner of the Doctoral and Postdoctoral Research Program competition announced by the Islamic Development Bank for the academic year 2021-2022. Gulmira Alibeyova was a master student in the specialty "Molecular Biology" of the institute in 2017-2019 and graduated with honors. In 2020 she was admitted to the PhD program of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies on the same specialty. The young researcher is currently conducting research on "Investigation of angiotensin-converting enzyme gene polymorphism in pathologies of the cardiovascular and respiratory systems."
