Leading researcher of the Bioadaptation Laboratory Ph.D. Nargiz Sultanova and junior researcher of the same laboratory Nargiz Bayramova were on a scientific trip in Shamakhi and Salyan districts. The main purpose of the expedition was the timely detection and diagnosis of viral diseases in some vegetable crops (peppers, eggplants, tomatoes, etc.) and melons (watermelons, melons, pumpkin, etc.) grown in the fields and greenhouses in these areas. For this purpose, samples were collected from plants with no signs of disease on the leaves, as well as plants with signs of viral pathogenesis. The trip lasted from 7 to 10 September.
