On September 20, the next scientific seminar was held at the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies. Head of the Photobioenergetics laboratory, doctor of biological sciences Yashar Feyziyev delivered the lecture on "Phobioenergetic processes: food and energy supply of mankind in the context of climate and environment change and scarcity of mineral energy resources" at the seminar. He noted that human nutrition depends on the products of plant origin, and that plant productivity is regulated not only by genetic factors but also by environmental factors such as salinity, drought, temperature, and light intensity. The use of mineral fuels is accompanied by environmental problems - air and soil pollution, carbon emissions and the greenhouse effect, climate change. All this poses a threat to humanity's energy problem. Y.Feyziyev spoke about the need for energy that is rapidly renewable, economically and ecologically viable, regardless of climate, region, and season,  and various technologies used to produce hydrogen. The scientist's speech aroused great interest among the seminar participants and extensive discussions were held around the speech.
