On September 21-22, 2021, IMBB held an entrance exam for the doctoral program in the specialties “Molecular biology”, “Biochemistry”, and “Biotechnology” for the preparation doctor of philosophy for 2021.  Chairman of the relevant commissions organized at the institute for conducting specialty examinations for the preparation of the Doctor of Philosophy is the director of the institute academician Irada Huseynova, members of the commission on “Molecular biology” – a correspondent member of ANAS Ilham Shahmuradov, doctors of philosophy in biology Alamdar Mammadov, Nurmammad Mustafayev, and head of the Education DepartmentnSamira Rustamova, the members of the commission on “Biochemistry”- a correspondent member of ANAS Novruz Guliyev, doctors of biological sciences, professor Saftar Suleymanov, Hasan Babayev, and Samira Rustamova, the members of the commission on “Biotechnology”- doctor of biological sciences Yashar Feyziyev, doctors of philosophy in biology Sadagat Asadova, Mahira Mammadova and Samira Rustamova. Examination Commission evaluated the exam results of the candidate Lala Ibadullayeva on “Molecular biology” with 98 points “excellent”, candidate Zumrud Yunusova on “Biochemistry” with 62 points “good”, candidates Aytaj Murshudzade and Chilanay Alakbarova on “Biotechnology” with 72 points “good”.

Head of the Doctoral Department of the Education Department of the Presidium of ANAS, doctor of philosophy in biology, associate professor Tubukhanim Gasimzadeh, and principal specialist Sevinj Aliyeva took part in the exams.
