Today, the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies of ANAS hosted joint lectures on “History and methodology of biology”, and “Modern problems of biology” were given to the first-year masters studying at the institutes of the Division of Biological and Medical Sciences of ANAS on the specialty "Biology".  The lectures were attended by 10 masters from IMBB (3 masters in "Molecular Biology", 3 in "Biochemistry", 3 in "Biotechnology"), 6 masters from the Institute of Genetic Resources (3 in "Genetics", 3 in "Human Genetics"), 3 masters from the Institute of Microbiology (specialty “Microbiology"), 3 masters from the Institute of Botany (specialty "Botany"). Vice-president of ANAS, academician Irada Huseynova got acquainted with the course of lessons. It should be noted that the joint teaching of general specialty subjects in the master's program of ANAS is carried out for the first time. The course of history and methodology of biology will be taught by the correspondent member of ANAS, doctor of biological sciences, professor Ibrahim Azizov. The course of modern problems of biology will be taught by leading scientists from various institutes of the Division of Biological and Medical Sciences.
