Today the sowing has started in the experimental field of the laboratory of Photochemistry of Chloroplasts of IMBB. The laboratory led by the correspondent member of ANAS Ibrahim Azizov continues its research in the field of obtaining salt-resistant, high-yielding wheat varieties, studying their morphophysiological and anatomical features. 24 hybrids have been obtained as a result of crossing 21 hard and soft wheat genotypes in the conducted researches so far. Currently, both parental forms and 4th generation hybrid forms are sown. The main purpose of the research is to evaluate the indicators of photosynthesis and productivity of hybrids obtained by crossing different wheat varieties under normal and saline conditions.
