Our people, as well as our compatriots living in different countries of the world, annually celebrate December 31, the Day of Solidarity of World Azerbaijanis. The solidarity of the Azerbaijanis of the world demonstrated the foresight of our national leader, genius Heydar Aliyev, his ability to unite the people around him. "For every person, his nationality is a source of pride. I have always been proud, and today I am proud to be Azerbaijani!" - These words of the wise leader have become a symbol of national pride for each of our compatriots. With his tireless activity, President Ilham Aliyev successfully continues the services of the great son of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev in this field.

Today, more than 50 million Azerbaijanis live in the world. The process of organizing our diaspora is going faster today. Azerbaijanis around the world are already playing a more active role in the socio-economic, socio-political, and cultural life of the countries they live in, making a great contribution to the expansion of relations with our republic, demonstrating determination in conveying the realities of Azerbaijan to the world community and promoting our rich cultural heritage. During the 44-day war, our compatriots abroad, regardless of their political views, thoughts, country of residence, place of work, demonstrated national unity and supported our state and army with all their capabilities. In addition to sending material and humanitarian aid to the army, wounded soldiers, families of martyrs, civilians living on the front lines and affected by the war, they also showed great organization and self-sacrifice in conveying our voice to the world. Our national unity resulted in a great victory of Azerbaijan on the front. It is a matter of pride for everyone who considers Azerbaijan their historical homeland to show solidarity in achieving a great victory.

Happy Solidarity Day of World Azerbaijanis and Happy New Year!
