On February 15, prof. dr. Mustafa Avji from Isparta University of Applied Sciences, manager of the Forest Pest Control Department Shaban Biyikli, and Head of the Forest Pest Control Department Akin Emin visited the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies of ANAS. Receiving the guests, the director-general of the institute, academician Irada Huseynova, informed about the history of the institute, its founder, academician Jalal Aliyev, the research conducted here, as well as the work done on plant diseases. Then the academician acquainted the guests with the laboratories. They talked about extensive opportunities for scientific cooperation at the meeting, and future prospects were discussed.
