The researcher of the Bioadaptation laboratory Turana Isgandarova was on a scientific trip to the Department of Plant Genetics and Biotechnology at the Institute of Crop Science and Resource Conservation of the University of Bonn, Germany. During the trip, T. Isgandarov conducted research on "Development of a conceptual model of stress tolerance mechanism based on determining the interaction between the expression of key genes responsible for drought tolerance in wheat and the metabolome." Six drought-resistant and susceptible wheat genotypes from Azerbaijan were used in the experiments. During the research, the DREB gene at the D genome level in drought-resistant and susceptible wheat genotypes was analyzed by sequencing with newly designed primers.
