On March 10, the regular scientific seminar was held at the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies. Senior researcher of the Bioadaptation Laboratory, Ph.D. Samra Mirzayeva's report on " Plant-pathogen phenomenological relations: activation of phytoimmunity in plants under the influence of pathogens, forms of resistance, antiviral receptors" was heard. The topic covered the latest research in molecular biology and plant phytopathology. The speaker provided detailed information on the phenomenology of host plant-pathogen interactions, activation of the autoimmune system in plants under the influence of biotic factors, especially pathogens, pathogen-activated signal transduction pathways, antiviral receptors, and their working principles, as well as resistance mechanisms and various hypotheses. The report was met with great interest by the participants.
