Today the first scientific seminar of 2019 has started at the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies. At the first seminar of the year, researcher of the Computational Structural Biology Laboratory, Rafiga Masmaliyeva, made a report on the research carried out at the Institute of Molecular Biology of the Medical Research Center in Cambridge. The information about the historical review of checking protein structures, validation criteria of macromolecular structures, existing validation programs- PROCHECK, Coot, MolProbity software applications was given at the seminar.  As well the statistics included in the validation report for each structure were discussed. The subject of the dissertation of the reporter is the preparation of a new method of validation. Her scientific research was met with great pleasure and she answered the given questions extensively.
