On August 24-25, the international conference "Formation and development of experimental biology in Tajikistan" dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Academician Yusuf Saidovich Nasirov was held in Dushanbe, the Republic of Tajikistan. At the conference, employees of the laboratory of the enzymology of carbon photosynthetic assimilation of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies - senior researcher, doctor of biological sciences Shahniyar Bayramov and leading researcher, Ph.D. in biology Ulduze Gurbanova, Aynura Pashayeva, researcher of Proteomics International Laboratory participated.

At the conference, a number of problems of essential theoretical and practical importance, including photosynthesis and productivity in plants, protection of biodiversity, plant gene pool, selection and seed production in agriculture, plant protection, etc., were discussed and opinions were exchanged about research covering such fields. At the international scientific conference attended by more than 200 scientists and specialists from different countries of the world, the employees of the institute gave interesting lectures in the " Increasing photosynthesis and plant productivity" section. The speakers answered numerous questions of the participants and expressed their interest in the development of inter-institutional international relations. The research of Azerbaijani scientists and their results were met with great interest by the conference participants. On August 25, a memorial plaque was opened in honor of academician Y.S.Nasyrov in the building of the Institute of Botany, Plant Physiology and Genetics of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan (ASRT). Within the framework of the visit, employees of the Institute met with the management and leading scientists of the Institute of Botany, Physiology, and Plant Genetics of ASRT, and held extensive discussions on the future work to be done in the direction of joint scientific cooperation and personnel training. At the end of the conference, a resolution was adopted on the development of science in various fields of experimental biology and further strengthening of cooperation between scientists of different countries.
