Samra Mirzayeva, senior researcher at the Bioadaptation Laboratory of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies of ANAS, doctoral student majoring in "Molecular Biology", was on a scientific visit to Ankara University of the Republic of Turkey as the winner of the "Postdoc" research competition of the Islamic Development Bank (ISDB), and she conducted research in the direction of studying the molecular-genetic mechanisms of tomato plant resistance to biotic and abiotic stresses for 4 months. As objects of research, Money Maker, sensitive to the virus, and local varieties Yegane and Shalala were taken, and the complex responses of foreign and local tomato varieties to biotic and abiotic stresses were comparatively analyzed. After the detection of viruses in plant samples infected with Tomato Yellow Leaf Curl Virus and Tomato Chlorosis Virus, which are viruses with DNA and RNA genomes, by duplex PCR and nested PCR methods, using the qReal-Time PCR method, the expression of genes in drought-stressed plants was examined, and cellulose-synthase-like genes related to the pathogen in tomato plants were comparatively analyzed.
