The people of Azerbaijan, who created the first democratic republic in the Muslim East in 1918, were deprived of their national freedom and state independence as a result of the social and political changes that occurred later. In 1993, after the return of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, it was possible to protect and develop independence. State independence is one of the greatest achievements of our people. The preservation of the achieved independence, civil unity, solidarity, stability, and the strengthening of the role and reputation of Azerbaijan as an independent state among the world states is connected with the name of National Leader Heydar Aliyev. We are proud that currently, President Ilham Aliyev is implementing a successful domestic and foreign policy by further developing the sacred ideas of the Great Leader.
