On November 14, a seminar on " Method development for analysis of metal coordinations in the PDB" was held by Kave Babai, a researcher at the Laboratory of Computational Structural Biology at the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies of the RA MSE. The speaker noted that the determination of macromolecular structures is one of the most important and difficult problems of chemistry. Knowing the structure of compounds allows to know its properties in advance. One of the problems in this field is that electron microscopes are not perfect in terms of obtaining high-precision data. The researcher also emphasized that optimization of algorithms and reduction of manual labor during analysis is planned.
