The regular meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies of RA MSE was held.

Academician Irada Huseynova, the vice-president of ANAS opened the meeting and informed the members of the council about the issues on the agenda.

The reports of the laboratories of Enzymology of Photosynthetic Carbon Assimilation, Genome Structure and Expression, and Department of Education were listened to at the meeting. Heads of the laboratories- the correspondent member of ANAS, professor Novruz Guliyev and Ph.D. in biology, associate professor Alamdar Mammadov gave detailed information to the members of the council about the scientific research conducted in the current year, the results obtained, published scientific works, participation in local and international events and personnel training.

 The head of the education department, Doctor of Philosophy in Biology, Associate Professor Samira Rustamova reported on students studying for doctorate and master's degrees, admissions in the current year and planning places for the next year, students studying abroad and other issues related to personnel training.

In the end, discussions were held, suggestions were made, and reports were accepted considering the activity of the laboratories as satisfactory.
