On March 30, the 3rd-year bachelor's degree students of the SABAH group majoring in “ Biology teaching” at Baku State University visited the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies of RA MSE with their teacher doctor of biological sciences Asif Manafov. The students got acquainted with the institute's laboratories equipped with modern equipment and received information about the conducted scientific research. The general director of the institute, Academician Irada Huseynova, told the students about the necessity of practical application of the knowledge acquired during education and its importance for their future scientific activities. The students visited the laboratories of Genome structure and expression, Bioadaptation, Enzymology of photosynthetic carbon assimilation, Plant biotechnology, Photochemistry of chloroplasts, Population genomics, and Proteomics. Correspondent member of ANAS Ibrahim Azizov, doctors of biological sciences Shahniyar Bayramov, Saftar Suleymanov, doctors of philosophy in biology Nargiz Sultanova, Zarifa Suleymanova, Mayakhanim Khanishova, Taliya Orujova, Seadet Khudaverdiyeva, Aynura Pashayevaand others talked about the research conducted in the laboratories, the results, and achievements.
