The leading researcher of the Bioadaptation Laboratory of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies of MSE RA, PhD Samira Rustamova, researcher Saida Zulfugarova, senior laboratory assistant Khayala Aliyeva, leading scientific worker of the laboratory of Enzymology of carbon photosynthetic assimilation, PhD Ulduza Gurbanova were on a scientific trip at the Gobustan Regional Experiment Station (BTS) of the Azerbaijan Research Institute of Crop Husbandry of the Ministry of Agriculture. The main purpose of the trip was to conduct preliminary phenological observations in wheat genotypes planted for genome-wide association studies (GWAS). Notably, in total, 188 wheat genotypes, including 67 local, 41 Russian, 9 Turkish, and 18 European genotypes, and 53 species diversity seeds obtained from the Genbank of the Institute of Genetic Resources MSE RA were planted. At the same time, wheat seeds were grown in artificial climate chambers in the laboratory and brought to the institute for molecular analysis.
