The employees of the Bioadaptation Laboratory of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, leading researcher, PhD Samira Rustamova, researcher Saida Zulfugarova, and senior laboratory assistant Khayala Aliyeva, leading scientific worker of the Genome structure and expression laboratory, PhD Zarifa Süleymanova, principal researcher of the laboratory of Enzymology of carbon photosynthetic assimilation, doctor of biological sciences Shahniyar Bayramov, leading researcher, PhD Ulduza Gurbanova, and, junior researcher of the Bionanotechnology international laboratory of Natella Aliyeva were on a scientific mission at the Gobustan Regional Experimental Station of the Research Institute of Crop Husbandry of the Ministry of Agriculture. The main purpose of the mission was to carry out digital phenotyping and sampling for gene expression analyses in 188 wheat genotypes planted for genome-wide association studies (GWAS).
