On June 21, the regular meeting of Scientific Council of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies of the Ministry of Science and Education was held. The chairman of the meeting, vice-president of ANAS, academician Irada Huseynova introduced the council members to the issues on the agenda. At the meeting, the issues regarding the participation of doctoral students and young researchers in the 26th Republican scientific conference to be held in Baku in November, sending Nargiz Bayramova, researcher of the Bioadaptation laboratory, to the city of Nizhny Novgorod to participate in the 11th Congress of the All-Russian Young Scientists and Student Scientific Societies on June 21-24, 2023 on the topic "Scientist of our time", sending Ismayil Zulfugarov, head of the International Laboratory of Proteomics, Mehriban Shabanova, junior researcher of the International Laboratory of Bionanotechnology, and Nahida Aliyeva, researcher of the Cell Membrane Systems Laboratory, to Istanbul to participate in the 11th International Conference "Sustainable Development - Photosynthesis and hydrogen energy research for 2023" to be held on July 3-9, 2023 at Bahçeşehir University, were discussed., Ph.D., prof., B.E.N., Assoc. A working group co-authored by the employees of the Department of Genetics of Baku State University- doctor of biological sciences, prof. Majnun Babayev, doctor of biological sciences, prof. Kamila Aliyeva, assoc.prof. Nazakat Huseynova, was created to provide feedback on the textbook prepared on the subject of Molecular genetics (in Russian). Later, Tohir Sunnatovich Khusanov, head of the phytovirology laboratory of the Institute of Microbiology of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, who is doing an experience at the institute, presented his report.
