On July 13, a regular meeting of the Scientific Council of the AR ETN Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies was held. The chairman of the meeting, vice-president of ANAS, academician Irada Huseynova introduced the Council members to the issues on the agenda. At the meeting, reports on the results of the scientific, scientific-organizational, and scientific-pedagogical activities performed at the Institute in the first half of 2023 were heard. Extensive discussions were held around the report. Then the head of the International Proteomics Laboratory Ph.D. Ismayil Zulfugarov, researcher of the Laboratory of Cell Membrane Systems, Ph.D. Nahida Aliyeva, and Junior Researcher of the International Laboratory of Bionanotechnology, Mehriban Shabanova reported on their participation in the 11th International Conference on "Photosynthesis and Hydrogen Energy Research for Sustainable Development - 2023" in Istanbul, Republic of Turkey, and Nargiz Bayramova, Researcher of the  Bioadaptation Laboratory spoke on her participation in the XI Congress of the All-Russian Young Scientist and Student Scientific Society in Nizhny Novgorod. Then, academician Irada Huseynova, congratulated Saadat Khudaverdiyeva, leading researcher of the Genome Structure and Expression Laboratory, Ph.D., Associate professor on the occasion of her 60th anniversary on behalf of the employees of the institute. In the meeting, information was also given about the awarding of the honorary diploma of ANAS to Nargiz Bayramova, a researcher of the Bioadaptation Laboratory, for her activity within the framework of the "Year of Heydar Aliyev" in the direction of promoting the ideals of statehood and our national values shown by the Great Leader and the diploma was presented to N. Bayramova.
