Fidan Huseynova, a junior researcher at the Population Genomics Laboratory of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies successfully defended her dissertation "Angiogenic activation of dental pulp stem cells for tooth tissue regeneration" at the University of Montpellier on December 1, 2022. She conducted the dissertation work within the framework of the dual doctoral program signed between the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences and the University of Montpellier, France. By the invitation of her scientific supervisor, Dr. Veronique Barragan-Montero she participated in the "Cérémonée de remîse de diplômes de doctorat 2022" event organized by the University of Montpellier on the occasion of the graduation day, on June 23 - July 3. Ph.D. diplomas were ceremonially presented to the graduates in the event where the president of the university, Philippe Auge, the vice-rector for higher education, research, and innovation of the academic region of Occitanie, Khaled Bouabdallah, the mayor of Montpellier, Mr. Sebastien Cote, the director of the Doctoral College operating under the university, Gilles Subra, the director of the Doctoral School of Chemical and Biological Sciences, Sofia Kossidia and other honored guests participated. Within the framework of the visit, Fidan Huseynova was in the Bioengineering and Nanosciences Laboratory of the University of Montpellier, as well as the Cosmetology Laboratory of the Chemistry School of the University, she met with Prof. F.Cuisinier və Dr. V.Barragan-Monter and discussed future cooperation opportunities.
