On 05-06 October, researchers of the Bioadaptation Laboratory of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies of MSE RA, Turane Isgenderova and Saida Zulfugarova, the leading researcher of the Laboratory of Enzymology of Photosynthetic Carbon Assimilation, PhD in Biology Ulduza Gurbanova was on a scientific trip at the Gobustan Regional Experimental Station (RES) of the Azerbaijan Research Institute of Crop Husbandry of the Ministry of Agriculture. The main purpose of the visit was to prepare wheat genotypes for sowing and planning the planting process for genome-wide association studies (GWAS). In total, 188 wheat genotypes were planted, including 67 local, 41 Russian, 9 Turkish, and 18 European genotypes, and 53 seeds of various species obtained from the Genbank of the Institute of Genetic Resources.
