Head of the laboratory of Plant biotechnology PhD Mahira Mammadova, researchers  Aygun Sadigova, Gunay Ismayilova, and senior laboratory assistant Hajar Naghiyeva were on secondment to the Research Institute of Fruit and Tea Growing of the Guba district on 22.04.2024 -23.04.2024. Within the framework of the cooperation agreement concluded between the institutes, the employees of MBBI held a meeting with the director of the Research Institute of Fruit and Tea Growing Ilham Garagurbanli and deputy director for scientific affairs Sevil Suleymanova and discussed the prospects of cooperation. Discussions were held regarding the joint activity of the working group made up of the scientific staff of both institutes to conduct scientific research in the direction of breeding the hazelnut plant by biotechnological methods. Later, the employees of IMBB got acquainted in detail with the scientific activity and infrastructure of the the Research Institute of Fruit and Tea Growing.
