The next meeting of the Scientific Council was held at the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies of MSE RA. Academician Irada Huseynova, director general of the institute, introduced the council members to the issues on the agenda. At the meeting, the admission plan for doctoral and dissertation training for 2024 approved by the Cabinet of Ministers, the attestation of researchers, partial changes in the composition of the institute's Council of Young Scientists and Specialists and other issues were discussed. Leading researcher of the Bioadaptation Laboratory, PhD in biology, Assoc. Prof. Nargiz Sultanova's report on her visit to the DSMZ Research Center located in Braunschweig, Germany on April 22-26, 2024 within the grant project funded by the Azerbaijan Science Foundation was heard, within the framework of the COST program of the European Union, the researcher of the Plant Biotechnology Laboratory, Aygun Sadygova’s secondment to the Czech Republic to participate in training on June 9-13, 2024, and Gunay Ismayilova to the Republic of Serbia to participate in the international conference on "Epigenetic mechanisms of plant adaptation to the environment" on June 4-6, 2024, other current issues were discussed and relevant decisions were made.
