On May 13, a civil defense exercise was held at the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies. Mikayil Pashayev, head of the institute's civil defense headquarters, introduced the employees to the working principle of fire extinguishing balloons and how to use them. Then the employees acquired practical skills by extinguishing the conventional fire using balloons. The main purpose of the exercise was to check the level of preparedness of the civil defense units of the demilitarized area and to coordinate joint actions in crisis situations and instill practical skills in the personnel in warning meetings.
