Jumali Keskin, professor of Mardin Artuklu University of Turkey, was a guest of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies of MSE RA. The scientist got acquainted with the laboratories of IMBB. He was given full information on the scientific studies being undertaken. Then Prof. Dr. Jumali Keskin gave a scientific seminar on "Use of Nanoparticles in Biomedicine". The seminar was also attended by the employees of Baku State University, doctor of physical and mathematical sciences, professor Rovshan Khalilov, deputy dean of the Biology faculty, PhD Sabina Omarova and PhD Aygun Nasirova. The Turkish scientist spoke about the work carried out in the field of nanoparticle research. Prof. Dr. Jumali Keskin noted that currently a large number of methods of obtaining nanoparticles of different sizes have been developed and there are many fields of application. Intensive scientific research is being conducted in the field of ways to use nanoparticles in biomedicine, cancer treatment, and tissue regeneration. Prof. Dr. Jumali Keskin's speech was met with great interest. Discussions were held around the speech and questions were answered. At the end of the seminar, the general director of MBBI, academician Irada Huseynova thanked the guest for his interesting speech and underlined the necessity of future collaboration between institutions in this field.
