An event on the occasion of National Salvation Day of Azerbaijanis was held at the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies. The institute's director general, academician Irada Huseynova opened the event and noted that June 15 is one of the most significant days in the life of the Azerbaijani people. After the Republic of Azerbaijan declared its independence on October 18, 1991, arbitrariness reigned in the country. Azerbaijan was in serious danger. Because both external and internal forces against the independent existence of Azerbaijan were strong. All segments of society were convinced that Heydar Aliyev was the only one capable of taking Azerbaijan out of this dilemma. After returning to power at the request of the people, the national leader embarked on the path of fundamental changes and progress in Azerbaijan. Despite all the obstacles, social and political stability was restored in the country in the shortest possible time. This important historical day was engraved in the memory of our people as National Salvation Day. Currently, independent Azerbaijan is ruled by President Ilham Aliyev, the political heir of the great leader Heydar AliyevAll the achievements of Azerbaijan during these years are based on the political course determined by the National Leader and the fact that President Ilham Aliyev successfully continued this political course.

Later, the corresponding member of ANAS, Ibrahim Azizov from 91s, doctor of biological sciences Shahniyar Bayramov, doctors of philosophy in biology Ulduza Gurbanova, Aynura Pashayeva, Nurmammad Mustafayev, the employee of the institute Mikayil Pashayev spoke about the new successes of the modern flourishing Azerbaijan and they emphasized that it is an occasion for our nation to welcome all holidays with pride as a victorious nation.
