Executive director of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies of MSE RA, associate professor Alamdar Mammadov participated in the international conference on "Science, Technology and Innovations during the revival of the new era of the powerful state" held in Ashgabat, Republic of Turkmenistan, on June 10-14, 2024. A. Mammadov got acquainted with  ET Institutes of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan and Oguzhan Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan and participated in the meetings organized in connection with the 300th anniversary of the great poet of Turkmenistan, Makhtumguli Pinar.

Mammadov presided the 2nd section of the conference called "Biotechnology, molecular biology, agriculture, ecology and genetics". In this section, scientists from China, Pakistan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia and Turkmenistan gave extensive information about the results of their scientific work, and a total of 87 foreign and local speeches were heard. A. Mammadov spoke on the topic "Molecular detection of some viruses that infect wheat in Azerbaijan and are important from the economic point of view".  The scientist's speech was met with great interest. A. Mammadov got acquainted with the results of the research work of scientists from different countries, exchanged ideas with them and discussed the prospects of future cooperation.
